Lucy’s boxing blog – week 5

This week started off with a training session with Katra Bryson, a boxing specialist at thirtysevendegrees (www.thirtysevendegrees.co.uk) and founder of Punch in the Park (www.punchinthepark.co.uk). It was a lovely day so Kat took me to the top floor of the thirtysevendegrees gym Olympia overlooking the sights of London – very nice.

It’s Monday morning and I’m at my desk. But I’m feeling elated. That doesn’t often happen, I have to admit, but yesterday I cycled 81 miles in the Macmillan Cancer Support Etape Caledonia – Britain’s only closed-road mass-participation cycling event – so I’m feeling quite proud of myself.

WEEK TWO
After aching for two days after last week’s boxing session with CJ (CJsfitness.co.uk), we met again on Tuesday morning at 8:15! Fortunately the weather is warming up, which makes it easier to get up at the crack of dawn to travel up to the gym in central London, NKD Ambition.
