Game, Set…Bounce!
By slhaf | July 3, 2009
Wimbledon Ladies Singles champion hopefuls Venus and Serena Williams will find their breasts bouncing a staggering 1,400 meters when they play in the forthcoming finals at Wimbledon today. That’s the equivalent distance from the floor of Centre Court up to its new roof 43 times!
Shock Absorber, the UK’s leading sports bra brand, has calculated that during tomorrow’s Ladies Singles Final, the Williams sisters’ boobs would bounce the equivalent distance from the floor of Centre Court up to its new roof 43 times!
Shock Absorber have sent a bumper pack of best selling sports bras to the players before the final to provide the necessary support. The movement involved in a tennis game puts a large amount of strain on a woman’s breasts. Their research shows that wearing a Shock Absorber sports bra reduces breast bounce by up to 74 per cent.
Last year saw a huge surge in tennis participation following Wimbledon and this year will be no different. Shock Absorber expert Julia Nolan says: “All eyes will be on the Williams sisters in the final and it’s set to be a really thrilling match. It’s great that so many women are inspired to take up the sport following Wimbledon, but before they pick up their tennis rackets we want them to remember that a sports bra is an essential piece of kit to protect the breasts and avoid long-term damage”.
Visit the Shock Absorber website to find out how you can prevent excessive boob bounce, using the ‘Bounce-o-meter’!
