Launch offer for BaseCamp, the ’second-generation’ weight-loss boot camp – 10% discount on all places booked before 30th June 2009.

BaseCamp is a new, small and personalised, weight loss and fitness boot camp, set in a luxurious country house in the West Country. Launching this autumn, BaseCamp is a ’second generation’ boot camp experience where the programme has been designed to get clients slimmer and more toned in a week.

Clients can lose at least a dress size with BaseCamp (as with most boot camps) with a variety activities designed to maximise fat burn, induce aerobic fitness and promote muscle tone. However, BaseCamp’s philosophy says that while it’s important that clients lose weight in a week, it’s also vital to help them keep it off for life. To achieve this, clients get scientifically-proven nutrition and fitness advice, a personalised after-camp programme and support line for those moments of weakness or when motivation gets low.

Check out the website, www.basecampcourses.com, which will show you the quality of the accommodation and also the philosophy of the programme. You’ll see that the fundamentals of nutrition run through the course and are not a bolt on. Every client is asked to complete a seven-day food diary before they arrive which is analysed and forms part of their personal assessment. BaseCamp aims to demystify the fads around dieting and exercise.

Everyone is different, which is why each client leaves with a personalised plan to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into their lifestyle – whether they are a single city girl or someone juggling family and work – so they don’t regain the weight they’ve lost back at home.

The BaseCamp programme is designed so it can accommodate people of varying levels of fitness, from those who might think of themselves as couch potatoes to regular exercisers. They take no more than 20 people on a course and exercise is undertaken in small groups with a high ratio of instructors to clients, so everyone can build their own particular level of fitness.

A week at BaseCamp cost from £1400 – £1950 fully inclusive. But if you quote the ‘Special Launch Offer’ when booking before 30th June 2009, you’ll receive a 10% discount
